Dacia Duster promises to be sub £10k in the UK Renault’s budget brand Dacia will offer “Shockingly Affordable” prices in the UK from 2013. Dacia Duster SUV under £10k and Sandero under £7k. Nissan Juke R takes to the track on video

The road-legal Nissan Juke R may never be built, but today Nissan showed off its the GT-R-powered Juke performing on track. It's a madcap one-off Juke pepped up with the GT-R's 523bhp 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6. The video below was recorded at the MIRA track in Warwickshire, as engineers had a chance to fine-tune the chassis.

Crash avoidance technology 'can cut crashes by a third'

GROUND-BREAKING rear-end crash avoidance technology can cut the likelihood of these accidents by up to a third, according to the latest crash test results by European safety body Euro NCAP. The Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) systems were trialled by Euro NCAP, which independently tests the crash safety standards of new cars in Europe. It tested the cars by driving them towards a dummy car made of an airbag to see which would stop before a collision occurred.
