Black & Decker Dual Temperature Heat Gun - Well built made in the USA, light weight and easy to use. This is an essential tool for heat-forming window film. High and low settings allow for precise temperature control for film shrinking to compound curved glass so often found in today's cars.

48oz. Performance Pressure Sprayer - This pressurized hand held sprayer with adjustable nozzle holds 48oz. of solution and reduces "finger-fatigue," eliminating the need for pumping while spraying. Handy for large windows and long-duration sprays.

Metal NT Knife - Stainless channel with aluminum body for comfort. The NT knife is regarded by many installers as the finest installation knife available. Knife blade locks in position for safety. Use for film pattern cutting and trimming.

Retractable Razor Scraper - Metal body with comfort shaped handle. Use this retractable razor scraper with replaceable blades to clean and prepare windows for tint. Do not use on windows with defrost wires.

100 Single Edge Razor Blades - Multi-purpose steel blade for scraping and trimming. Pack of 100 blades.

Unger Pro Grip Handle - Essential tool for glass cleaning and for use with professional finishing squeegee blades. This rubber-coated squeegee handle works with many different squeegee attachments: Clear Max, Blue Max, and of course the regular channel blade with the soft rubber insert.

6" Rubber Channel Squeegee - Stainless steel channel and soft rubber squeegee blade insert for use with the Unger Pro Handle. Used for glass cleaning and in cleanup after the actual film installation to remove soap streaks or excess water.

Blue Max Pro Squeegee - An excellent finishing squeegee for automotive applications and films requiring maximum water removal. Blue Max has pre-trimmed, angled sides for more effective squeegeeing into corners and along top edges of glass. Use with the Unger Pro Grip Handle.

3M Blue Hard Card - A medium density combination squeegee/hard card used as a finishing tool during film installation. When wrapped in a layer of cotton cloth or lint-free paper towel it can be used for wicking water out along gaskets or used for sweeping film flush to the glass during heat forming procedures.

Orange Hard Card - A medium-high density combination squeegee/hard card used as a finishing tool during film installation.

9-1/2" Red Devil - Used to get into hard to reach areas as well as an excellent tool to use as a straight edge while making cuts.

Red Devil Smoother - Similar to the larger 9-1/2" Red Devil but angled on both ends. This tool works well to work film below the third brake light.

The Chizler - A much harder tool than hard cards, this plastic device is used for the occasional "press-down" of small film creases, or scraping away old film remnants on scratch-sensitive surfaces. Its sharpness allows you to get under border gaskets, and press down stubborn "fingers."

4" Teflon Card - Hard card used in the finishing steps of film installation to work out fingers that naturally arise. Teflon hard card can be cut to any shape or size.

Conquistador - A specialty 6" Squeegee/Hard Card designed to reach tight corners. The hottest new tool in years, the Conquistador's 6.5" rubber edge is molded to the body (not glued) and will not peel away.

6" Squeegee/Hard Card - Another great combination squeegee/hard card used as a finishing tool during film installation. Hard edge, when wrapped in a layer of cotton cloth or lint-free paper towel, can be used for wicking water out along gaskets. Can be cut to various angle shapes to reach tight, sharp cornered glass areas.

Little Red Foot - This 6" squeegee with pointed edge of this tool allows the installer to squeegee in very tight areas. The Little Foot has plenty of room to keep a good grip on the squeegee.

Gold EZ Reach Corner Tool - The first of it's kind corner reach tool! Made extra slender profile for deep reach ease.

4" Black Tube Squeegee - Squeegee tool used for glass cleaning. Not recommended for installation of films. Sometimes called the "Smoothie."

Lil' Chizler - A smaller version of "The Chizler", this plastic device is used for the occasional "press-down" of small film creases, or scraping away old film remnants on scratch-sensitive surfaces. Its sharpness allows you to get under border gaskets, and press down stubborn "fingers."

Equalizer Push Stick - Used for pressing out minor film creases or crimps and tucking down car door weather stripping.

Heat Forming Gloves - If you heat shrink, you need the right gloves! These heat forming gloves protect your hands from burns while you're smoothing out film.

Film-On Film Application Concentrate - Application solution concentrate for easy application of automotive window films. Makes 78 gallons. Follow label for mixing instructions.

Performax Glass Cleaner - Ready-to-use ammonia free glass cleaner. Simply spray and wipe for sparkling clear glass. Safe for use on window film applications.

Crowds come back to Concorso Italiano at Monterey weekend

Sat, 15 Aug 2009

Organizers of this year's Concorso Italiano didn't know what would happen. New owner Tom McDowell had taken over the annual "Celebration of Italian Style" and moved the whole festival from the rather barren airport location to the sprawling Laguna Seca Golf Ranch just downhill from Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Would anybody show up?
