FAQ/What is meant by "Beam Pattern"?

Our lights come in 3 different configurations: Spot,  Flood, or a Combination of both.

A spot beam produces a cone of light in a narrow 8o - 10o spread (depending on the exact light). This is good for specific task type lighting, or additional visibility when driving at night.

A flood beam produces a cone of light in a wide 90o spread. This is good for general work lighting, lighting up an off road trail that may have overhead tree limbs that you want to see, etc.

A combination combines these both. They have lights on the outside of the bar that produce a flood pattern while the inner lights produce a spot pattern. These are a great overall light with a lot of versatility and are our best selling lights for that reason.

What's a CREE LED Anyway?
CREE is the leading LED technology innovation think tank that is continually pushing the envelope in LED technology to create more lumens per watt. The result is the brightest LED's on the market that will turn that dark forest or country road into your midnight playground.

Eterniti Hemera: The tease continues

Mon, 05 Sep 2011

Eterniti Hemera - the first image You may remember that we ran a story a few weeks ago about a mysterious ‘new’ luxury SUV from a new car company – the Eterniti Hemera. Well, they’re back with a bit more of a drip-feed of information as the debut of their first car – which they dub “… the world’s first Super-SUV” – grows closer. We’d speculated that Eterniti wasn’t a car maker but was instead an after-market customiser; simply taking an existing car and making it ‘special’.

Breckland Beira: the first pictures

Tue, 03 Jun 2008

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 03 June 2008 17:18 Missing Marcos and wondering just what exactly has happened to TVR? Well your sportscar wishes have been answered in the shape of a new British-built two-seater called the Breckland Beira. Power (of course) comes from a 6.0-litre GM-sourced V8, but the chassis isn’t some hastily cobbled together tubular steel job.

McLaren mysteries: Some things you might not know about the P1 and its maker

Fri, 03 May 2013

The McLaren P1 is one of the most spectacular supercars in the world, and it's been an object of fixation for enthusiasts since it debuted as a concept last fall in Paris. The basics are well known: a 903-hp hybrid powertrain, carbon-fiber for almost everything, and taut, curvaceous styling that introduces McLaren to a fresh generation. The P1 grew out of a somewhat hokey mission statement that McLaren produced back in 2009.
