Here is an Original Rectangular Exhaust Tip that was used on the 1965-1967 Mopar "A" Body cars with the 273 Commando 4 Barrel High Performance Engine. These Exhaust Tips were attached to the end of the Resonator/Muffler on the 1965 Barracuda Formula S 1965 Dart GT 1965 Valiant 100 , 200 and Valiant Signet 1965 Dart 170 Dart 270 and Dart GT Models .... 1966 Barracuda Formula S 1966 Valiant 100 Valiant 200 and 1966 Valiant Signet models ... 1966 Dart 170 Dart 270 and Dart GT 1967 Dart GTS 1967 Barracuda Formula S and all other "A" Body cars with the 273 Commando V8 4 Barrel High Performance Engine.  This Rectangular Exhaust Tip attached to the Rear Mounted Resonator/Muffler on cars equipped with the 273 Commando V8 4 Barrel engine or the Charger 273 as it was called in some of the Dart GT 273 4 Barrel Models.     This is the Correct & Original Exhaust Tip only and it was carefully removed from the Original Muffler/Resonator so it could be used on another cool Mopar with the 273 4 Barrel Commando V8 engine.  These Tips were Originally tack welded to the Muffler/Resonator and this Tip was very carefully removed from it's old Resonator/Muffler which had rusted away from the inside out.  The guy that removed this Original Mopar 273 Commando Exhaust Tip from the Resonator/Muffler removed it properly by carefully separating the original tac welds which will make it easier for the next guy to mount this on a Muffler/Resonator. He did an awesome job of not damaging this very hard to find Factory Original Rectangular Bright Stainless Steel Exhaust Tip.  If you look around on Ebay or in other venues, you will not likely find another Exhaust Tip although there is one NOS Original Muffler/Resonator currently for sale on Ebay for $695.  I bought this awhile back and thought I might use it on my 1966 Valiant 273-2 Barrel Factory 4 Speed Station Wagon but the car was so original that I decided to leave it that way.  As far as I know, nobody is making these Exhaust Tips and the only way to get one is to buy a complete NOS Muffler/Resonator Chrysler Part # 2660445 and they are not cheap. Like I said, there is one NOS Resonator/Muffler with the Exhaust Tip on Ebay now and it's the only one that I've seen advertised for a long time.  It wouldn't take much to get install this Exhaust Tip onto a Muffler or Resonator and give your car that correct factory original look.   This Tip was removed properly so you will be able to use it without too much trouble installing it on the proper Muffler/Resonator.    The Exhaust Tip opens up and closes with a little overlapping flange on the bottom side of the Exhaust Tip so that you'll have more room and more options when it comes to how you would like to use it with another Muffler/Resonator.   The Exhaust Tip is in very good Original condition with no dents and just some scratches... it will look awesome installed on your car.  These were used with the Factory Single Exhaust on the 273 4 Barrel Commando V8 engines and the Exhaust Tip exits at the rear of the Drivers side of the car.    Check out the pictures and feel free to email me with any questions or concerns.  Shipping will be $12.95  anywhere in the lower 48 States

Not only has Nico Rosberg taken pole position at the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai, but he did it with one flying lap at the start of final qualifying to take his first F1 pole and Mercedes first since their return to F1 in 2010 after an absence of more than half a century. Rosberg beat second place man Hamilton by a full half second, but Hamilton has a five place penalty for a gearbox change so starts seventh.

2015 Cadillac ATS-V spied chasing BMW M3

Mon, 03 Jun 2013

The Cadillac ATS was conceived as a BMW 3-series fighter, so it stands to reason that a hotter version of the rear-wheel drive sedan -- a Cadillac ATS-V -- would be called forth to challenge the mighty M3. New spy photos seem to show just that. Of course, this could be a case of a privately owned BMW M3 being in the right place at the right time, catching up with what appears to be a heavily camouflaged Cadillac ATS-V on the road somewhere outside metropolitan Detroit.
