The Discverer ATR was designed as an original equipment replacement for drivers who want increased traction without sacrificing ride comfort and quiet ride.

This modern five-rib design features a combination of lateral slots and sawtooth circumferential grooves which are wide and deep to provide solid all-terrain performance. A center rib along with a refined tread element shape and optimized pitch sequence helps provide even tread wear and reduced tread related noise. Both are extensively siped to enhance all season traction.

Using state of the art VT2ech computer aided engineering an optimum mold profile was designed to provide favorable balance of wear and handling characteristics.

Designed to provide excellent all weather traction and long wear.  The tread compound is formulated to also provide low rolling resistance characteristics or enhanced fuel efficiency.

The tread design extends further down the buttress (shoulder) area of the tire to provide greater traction on soft surfaces.

The extensive number of sipes on the center rib, in addition to the depth of the tread elements, help provide for long, dependable traction in all weather conditions. The "zig-zag" shape increases the effectiveneess of the gripping edges.

As part of their refined shape, the tread elements are strategically chamfered at the sawtooth circumferential grooves and also at the tip of the center elements to increase element stability to fight irregular wear.

Set of two used 275/70/17 Cooper Discoverer ATR tires. One tire has 9/32nds tread, second has 14/32nds. Tires are in decent shape. No holes or problems. DOT on them are 3710 and 4409.

McLaren P13 – first OFFICIAL details and image

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

McLaren P13 (pictured) first OFFICIAL details revealed It was only last month that we had official confirmation that the McLaren P13 – McLaren’s more affordable mid-engined supercar – would arrive in 2015 to take on cars like Audi’s R8 and the top end Porsche 911s. Now McLaren has gone a bit further and revealed details of the P13. The McLaren P13 – shown above in a sketch by McLaren’s design boss, Frank Stephenson – looks to take its design cues more from the MacLaren P1 than the 12C – a good thing – and will utilise the same carbon fibre MonoCell chassis as the P1 and 12C as well as a de-tuned version of the same 3.8 litre V8 turbo.

Audi TT Coupe and Roadster facelift (2010) first pictures

Wed, 07 Apr 2010

This is Audi's facelifted TT Coupé and Roadster, though rather than referring to the tweaks as full-blown changes (which they're not), Ingolstadt is taking a more subtle approach and merely calling the revisions '2011 Model Year' tweaks.   Well it’s an Audi, so all TTs now come with a set of LED daytime running lights. As for the rest of the car, come on, can’t you see the changes? Oh, well Audi says the interior and exterior have been 'revised with great attention to detail'.

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 28 May 2008 09:07 Rolls-Royce has issued two design sketches of the new RR4 – the long-awaited 'baby' Rolls. As you might expect from Rolls-Royce, these things are relative: the RR4 will be longer than a long-wheelbase BMW 7-series and is expected to cost £175,000. Until now, information on the baby Rolls has been scant, but we can finally add some concrete detail to the story.
