DesignworksUSA, the global design consultancy of BMW, has created its vision of the Metro system. Commissioned by Siemens in the summer of 2010, the BMW Group subsidiary developed the design of the new Metro Inspiro – a further chapter in the long-standing cooperation of the two partners. The Metro Inspiro assignment tasked the design team to live up to the increased demands on travel comfort and spatial perception, optimize transport capacities and provide regional public transportation services with additional possibilities for individualization.

The three generations of the BMW X5 meet The new BMW X5 has just been revealed, and it follows the formula of its predecessors to deliver a new X5 that has more of everything previous X5s offered – performance, economy, space, practicality and luxury. BMW like to call the X5 an ‘SAV’ (Sports Activity vehicle) to differentiate it from real SUVs; although the X5 has four-wheel drive it’s not really a mud-plugger like a Land Rover, but more a 5-Series on stilts. Kia Pop concept (2010) first official pictures

These are the first pictures of Kia's new 2010 electric concept car, the Pop, which is due to make its debut at the Paris motor show on 30 September. Details on the new Kia Pop are sketchy, but at 3m long and with a triple-seat arrangement, it could be that Kia has its sights set on creating a rival to the Toyota iQ. In fact, we can see from the bird's-eye shot that the seating plan mimics that of Toyota's baby with two positions in a front bench and a single rear seat behind the front passenger.
