This listing is for an oil pan from a Model A Ford car or possibly an AA truck, I don't remember but I think they're all the same. Solid, has a dent in the bottom and needs to be blasted and painted, otherwise good. Very heavy to ship. Everything is as shown, as-is. Please be patient with the shipping of these items. Lexus IS Design contest winner to be built for SEMA 2013
Thu, 15 Aug 2013Somewhere in the shortlist of 25 semi-finalists from the Lexus IS Design contest lurks the design that will be built by tuner VIP Auto Salon and take pride of place on Lexus' stand at SEMA later this year. Hosted by online art community deviantART, the competition asked entrants to customize a Lexus IS saloon using any method they liked. The winner will also be given a one-year lease of the IS and other prizes.

Ferrari 4×4 Hybrid system on the drawing board
Sat, 23 May 2009One of the drawings Ferrari has submitted to the European Patent Office for a 4x4 Hybrid System [ad#ad-1] Actually, the headline is quite literal. It would appear that Ferrari is working on four wheel drive hybrid propulsion systems after plans submitted to the European Patent Office were uncovered by Autocar. It’s been known for some time that Ferrari has been working on Hybrid and 4WD systems, but these drawings show that Ferrari is in fact looking at a simpler system designed more to aid handling than to benefit the environment.
