2013 Toyota Auris leaks

The next generation Toyota Auris (Toyota Corolla) is due to debut this year as a 2013 model, and we get the first leaked photo. We know that a replacement for the Toyota Auris is on the horizon and we’re expecting it to make a public debut (at least in Europe) at the Paris Motor Show in September before going on sale by the end of 2012. But now, thanks to a Japanese Magazine scan, we have a pretty good idea what Toyota’s new Auris/Corolla is going to look like, and it seems to be the current Auris with a dose of Lexus thrown in for good measure.

The Audi Q7 Project by Project Khan Having worked over the products of Land Rover in recent years to keep the orange inhabitants of Cheshire loftily mobile, Project Khan has now decided that Audi is deserving of its gifts and has set about ‘Khan-ising’ the Audi Q7. And actually, in many ways, the Audi Q7 benefits from some of Khan’s work. The Audi Q7 isn’t the most iconic or visually appealing SUV on the planet, and rather than detracting from what’s on offer some aspects of the Audi Q7 Project do enhance.

German artist Felix Deimann explores abstract shapes in his latest animation, creating a work that's full of inspiring forms. While it’s common for car designers to talk up how dynamic their designs are, and how they've been inspired by anything from a swimming shark to a fighter jet, this work is far more authentic in its visualization of movement. His thesis takes its name from the Olympic motto 'Citius, Altius, Fortius,' which is Latin for Faster, Higher, Stronger.
