Today comes news on the G37 Range, which includes Saloon, Coupe and Convertible models. But Sunday arrived bright and clear, qualifying was despatched post haste and Vettel took pole with Webber in second. Hamilton was third, Kubica fourth with Alonso and Button making up the third row.

Mind you, even though we got a huge press release which ran to more pages than we cared to count, and a pile of new photos including interiors for the first time, there’s still a chunk of detail missing. We don’t for example have performance figures, much beyond a 7.1 second 0-60 mph for the 238bhp EcoBoost Evoque.
