These have 16-SMD (Surface Mount Diode) LEDs which give a more complete light coverage (360 degrees).

NOTE: Due to these being LEDs, you may have to rotate the bulb so that the + (positive) voltage flows correctly and lights the bulb.

Before returning these, please take the bulb out and rotate it so that the polarity is correct. Also please make sure the contact points are tight (squeeze them together a little) since these will not work well if loose in the socket.
