PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING PRIOR TO PURCHASE.  THIS IS AN AS-IS LISTING.  YOU BUY THEM, YOU OWN THEM!  NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

This listing is for TWO (2) OEM Jaguar center caps correct for the Dayton Tru-Spoke wire wheels circa 1989.  I believe the same wheel was used from the mid 80s thru the early 90s.  These particular caps were removed from a 1989 XJ6.  They both have the mounting screws used for installation.  Although they were removed from the same vehicle, the retaining plates are not the same.  One of the caps has a circular retaining plate.  The other one uses a retaining bar.  Its possible that one of them was replaced at some point, and uses a later version of the retainer.  Both have the Jaguar "Growler" badges in the center.  Nice used condition, but not new or show quality items by any means.  Great for a daily driver or to keep as spares!  These are relatively hard to find, and  PRICED TO SELL!! Compatibility chart is for suggested applications ONLY and is based on factory part numbers and manufacturers suggested applications!! Caps are sold AS-IS and AS-PICTURED!! Please see ALL photos provided and ask all questions PRIOR to purchase as all sales are final on used items!! Thanks for looking!!

AutoStyle 2010

Fri, 03 Dec 2010

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure to attend AutoStyle 2010's design competition; a wonderfully familial, small-scale event that takes place in the picturesque village of San Benedetto Po, in northern Italy. Hosted by Berman, an aftermarket supplier of bespoke components to many OEMs, the event is a two-day gathering where many of the industry's designers, buyers and suppliers attend a conference to hear about the trends as perceived by automakers and to see the newest ‘special versions' created by budding designers. The 7th edition of the AutoStyle design competition showcased a wide array of aftermarket designs for the Ferrari California, Nissan Micra, Ford Focus, Alfa Romeo Giulietta and the Citroen DS Highrider concept.

Carlos Ghosn's automaker mantra: Go big or you'll go away

Tue, 25 May 2010

Size matters in auto company survival, Renault and Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn told an audience in Detroit on Tuesday. To cope with the escalating costs and scope of a global industry, successful automakers must complete a trifecta--be able to compete in every technology, every market and every segment, Ghosn said during a luncheon speech at the Detroit Economic Club “No 3 million-unit carmaker can make it,” Ghosn said, explaining why his Renault-Nissan alliance forged an alliance with Germany's Daimler AG. Competency in one or two of the three skills is not enough, and only very large companies can afford all three, he said.
