Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Concept-S at 2014 Paris motor show
Tue, 02 Sep 2014By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 02 September 2014 13:42 This is the first - somewhat restricted - look at the new 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Concept-S, due to be unveiled at this autumn’s Paris motor show. It’s a smarter adaptation of the existing Outlander plug-in hybrid road car. Porsche reveals Panamera Turbo S
Fri, 01 Nov 2013PORSCHE has taken the wraps off its new Panamera Turbo S, built for those who think the regular Turbo is neither fast nor exclusive enough. Prices will start at more than £131,000 for the car, which uses a twin-turbocharged 562bhp V8 petrol engine and four-wheel drive to catapult its two-tonne bulk to 62mph in just 3.8 seconds, on the way to a top speed of 192mph. Fuel economy is recorded as 27.7mpg on the European standard ‘combined cycle’ average, but drivers in the real world should expect around 20.
Subaru’s seven-seat Exiga (2008): first pictures
Tue, 17 Jun 2008By Ben Whitworth First Official Pictures 17 June 2008 12:08 This is the Exiga, Subaru’s rather straightlaced seven-seat people carrier, designed to bridge the gap between the current Legacy and Tribeca. Based on existing Legacy architecture, the Exiga has a long 2750mm wheelbase, and at 4750mm long, 1775mm wide and 1660mm high, it’s roughly the same size as Ford’s S-Max. There’s a choice of two engines – both 2.0-litre petrols and both flat fours.
