Tue, 13 Sep 2011Fisker Surf Shooting Brake Fisker will reveal a Shooting Brake version of the Fisker Karma at Frankfurt today, the first new model we’ve seen in the flesh from the eco-car company for some time. And no, this isn’t project Nina, it’s the Fisker Surf. The Surf Shooting Brake is Fisker’s answer to cars like the Ferrari FF but is really their response to the observation that three tons of batteries in the boot oif the regular Karma only leaves enough room for a toothbrush and a pair of pyjamas.

And here it is – the Toyota FCV Concept. The FCV Concept points clearly at Toyota’s first proper production fuel cell car – expected to hit Toyota showrooms in 2015 – and Toyota are keen we realise that, subject to a refuelling infrastructure, the hydrogen-powered FCV is just like owning a regular ICE car.

Wed, 14 Nov 2012The Mercedes Energ-G-Force, which will debut at the Los Angeles auto show, could be the shape of Mercedes SUVs to come--if you like it. “If people really like it and reaction is good then yeah, we might have to think of making it happen in reality,” said designer Huey Lee, who was part of the team that penned the Energ-G-Force at Mercedes' Advanced Design Studio in Carlsbad, Calif.
