Fri, 28 Feb 2014By Ollie Kew First Official Pictures 28 February 2014 14:00 Stand well back. This is the Koengisegg One:1, and it may well need a team of lion-tamers to restrain it from leaping clean off its Geneva motor show stand and picking a fight with the McLaren P1, LaFerrari and Porsche 918. CCS/GM E-Flex project
Fri, 23 May 2008Cadillac V-Flex Evan Mai Evan Mai presented the Cadillac V-Flex, a mid-engine electric race car that uses GM's E-Flex platform in a new configuration and advances Cadillac's art & science design language. The race inspired proportion and layout of the V-Flex draws heavily from Le Mans prototype and F1 cars. Power would come from an electric motor with a range extending internal combustion engine. The Li-ion battery placed in the bottom center of the vehicle could be swapped from underneath the car during pit stops. Aluminum heat sinks in the rear efficiently dissipate heat away from the motor and battery while performing as a rear spoiler. The front grille serves to communicate the Cadillac design philosophy and also serves as a functional aerodynamic enhancement.
*CORRECTION* Thomas Ingenlath appointed Vice President of Design for Volvo
Thu, 15 Mar 2012Yesterday Car Design News reported that Thomas Ingenlath has been appointed Vice President of Design for Volvo, stating that he will report to Peter Horbury, who is now Senior Vice President Design, Geely Group. This information is innacurate as Ingenlath will in fact report directly to Volvo Car Company President & CEO, Stefan Jacoby. We apologize for any confusion caused by our error.
