Wed, 05 Aug 2009By Alex Michaelides First Official Pictures 05 August 2009 00:01 Take a look at these first official pictures of the Mercedes Fascination concept’s more sober cousin, the Mercedes E-class estate. It’s the latest variation to join the burgeoning Mercedes E-class family, leaving only the convertible and – possibly – the Fascination-emulating sport wagon to come. Porsche big up the Panamera S E-Hybrid (video)
Tue, 09 Jul 2013The Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid (pictured) is a performance Porsche too We’ve long seen hybrids, and plug-in hybrids, as the perfect performance weapon for high-end cars, where the addition of an electric motor offers an unbeatable combination of power and economy. Which is an impressive number for any car in the hands of a group of people with lead-lined right feet and clearly demonstrates that the Panamera Hybrid really can do silly mpg even in the real world.

Having failed to secure accommodation near the centre of Geneva, I’d easily managed to get an apartment in the same block as my two forum blogger colleagues, Robbie (1977) and Mark (car4mh). I’d also, purely by chance, managed to get a flight that landed ten minutes before Robby’s flight into Geneva which meant that we could jointly figure out the best way to get the 35k/m from the Airport to Thannon Le Bain, over the border in France and split the cost if necessary.
