You do not need to purchase the complete key if your remote functions are working normally. The blade is molded into the plastic head on remote head keys, so it must be cut to match your original key before you can use it. Not all locksmiths or dealerships have the proper equipment to cut high security key shell for Lexus , so you will need to call around before purchasing. Once the new key shell is cut you can remove the electronic part from your original key, place it into the new shell and it will work just as normal.. The 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee I don’t know why, but I always thought the Grand Cherokee an appealing SUV. It was soft and soggy in typical Yank-Tank way, and its interior trim owed more to the art of plastic than trees, but it had an appeal. More so in V8 mode than the Euro-Special diesel, although the current 3.0 litre is a lot better than the 2.7 litre it replaced.
