Used car sales return to pre-recession levels

As the UK’s buoyant new car sales figures continue to buck the European trend, it was only a matter of time before this had a positive knock-on effect on sales of used cars. Now, according to figures released in the latest BCA Used Car Market Report, used car sales hit 7.1 million last year, outpacing new car sales by 6.4% and, even more crucially, returning to pre-recession levels. Toyota hands over small-car development to its European unit

Toyota Motor Corp.'s European division next month will take charge of global product planning for small cars as the Japanese automaker expands model research and development in the region. Range Rover Sport 2014 Product Video arrives

Just yesterday we had the first official confirmation from Land Rover of prices and specs for the new Range Rover Sport (although we actually published them some time ago) and Land Rover has now released a new product film of the RRS – a glorified video commercial, if you like. But unlike the RRS videos we had when the Sport first appeared, this video is much slicker and does manage to convey much better what the new Sport has on offer.
