High-performance electric cars set for public debut at Goodwood

The EEMS Accelerate project based in Britain aims to show that driving an electric car doesn't have to be a bland experience. It's taking the effort public starting at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Four British-made, high-performance electric cars will be displayed at the FoS-TECH Exhibition at Goodwood this weekend.

Nissan Townpod concept

Nissan showed off a fresh take on the urban vehicle with the Townpod concept in Paris. Part coupe, part commercial vehicle – according to a Nissan spokesperson we spoke to at the show – the Townpod concept features a clear product aesthetic and the inherent practicality of a van, without resorting to outright utilitarianism. New Toyota Yaris TR released

Toyota has upgraded the spec on the Toyota Yaris TR The changes to the new Toyota Yaris TR move it up the range towards the T-Spirit. There are ten Yaris TR models in the range (prices and detail at the bottom) and all get an upgraded spec. The Toyota Yaris TR now gets 15″ Eught-Spoke Alloys (just like the T-Spirit), AirCon, electric windows and mirrors, 6-speaker sound system (just 4 on the 1.0 VVTi), leather wheel with audio controls, leather gear shift trim and adjustable steering wheel.
