Mercedes S63 AMG coupe (2014) first official pictures

It’s essentially a two-door version of the S63 AMG saloon, marrying the new S-class coupe body's with the twin-turbocharged, 577bhp engine of the fastest AMGs. Mercedes claims the new S63 AMG is 65kg lighter than the outgoing CL63 AMG, mainly thanks to a new lithium-ion battery for the car’s ancillary systems.

Kia has released a short film featuring Peter Schreyer that provides an insight into the world of premium car design in which he explains the importance of proportion. In the presentation, Schreyer sketches the company's new K9 sedan, describing how a rear-wheel drive platform affects the car's design, with its generous wheelbase, short front overhang and the 'prestige distance' between the center of the front wheel and the A-pillar. Race-ready Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR-X revealed

The Dodge Viper special editions continue, and on Thursday a turnkey race car, called the Viper SRT10 ACR-X, broke cover. It's not street-legal and is upgraded with a slew of performance modifications aimed at racing enthusiasts. Power grows by 40 hp, to 640 hp, for the 8.4-liter V10.
