You are bidding on a complete limited slip rear differential assembly I built to install in my 2000 BMW 740i, but sold the car before getting around to it. It retains the 3.15 sport ratio, but now has a limited slip spool in place of the stock open design. This should fit all E38 cars with the "big" 102mm axles, i.e. short sports and some 750il's, but I can not make any guarantees, BMW was way too hit-n-miss on the E38's for me to speak with 100% certainty. You need to do the research and confirm fitment. It is full of Castrol Syntrax 75W90, ready to bolt-in and go. I'll ship in the CONUS for $60 flat-rate.

Infiniti JX crossover revealed at Pebble Beach

Thu, 18 Aug 2011

After a month of teasers and tidbits, the Infiniti JX Concept was finally revealed in its entirety on Thursday in California, ahead of the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The seven-passenger, three-row crossover concept is expected to appear largely intact as the production 2012 Infiniti JX next spring. Styling cues were obviously borrowed from the Essence concept, but the JX also seems to have a bit of Volvo XC90 in the greenhouse and even a touch of Mitsubishi Lancer in the front grille aperture.

Essex boost for car loving home buyers

Sun, 31 May 2009

An Essex council is to make garages and drives bigger on new homes For most of the last decade the UK Government has waged a war on the motorist. Endless speed cameras, which are in reality just tax-raising  machines and have little to do with road safety; never-ending fuel tax rises; congestion charging; spiralling parking charges; road-charging schemes and the only coppers you see have a speed gun so non-speeding untaxed and uninsured drivers never get caught -  pushing up costs for the rest of us. But one of the most stupid, head-in-the-sand policies was the idea that new houses should encourage people to forsake their cars by making garages too small and off-street parking almost non-existent.

Subaru Cross Sport Concept Bows at Tokyo

Wed, 20 Nov 2013

With little fanfare Subaru showed two promising concepts at the Tokyo show, both based on iconic Subaru performance cars. The Cross Sport Design Concept is an SUV/wagon body that rides on BRZ mechanicals. Think of it as a BRZ wagon, offering the nimble tossability of the sporty BRZ coupe with the roomy practicality of a wagon.
