Hello,

This is a prototype intake system that I designed for a 2010-2012 Camaro with a V-6 engine.  It utilizes a 3.5" tube and an AEM Dry Flow air filter.  This is not a mass-produced intake system, it is a one off, hand made piece.  There is a lot of time and craftsmanship in this intake, it has been installed but was used for less than 50 miles.  I designed this a couple of years ago using a 2010 Camaro as my test vehicle.  The system ran great and made good power but the check engine light would come on eventually.  Anyway, I am a fabricator, not a tuner...I never could figure out what was making the engine light come on, I heard the 2010's were especially finicky with intake systems so on a 2011 or 2012 it may work fine.  If you have a tuner or a chip I am sure there would be no problem either.  Anyway, I have gotten to busy and moved on to other products, just clearing out the shop a little, this is a great deal for the right person, definitely a one of a kind item!

Concept Car of the Week: Chrysler Atlantic (1995)

Fri, 16 May 2014

The Atlantic concept was arguably one of the first retro-remakes, starting a trend soon followed by cars like the Alfa Romeo Nuvola and the Renault Fiftie. The story began at the 1994 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance where Chrysler president Bob Lutz and Chrysler design chief Tom Gale served together as judges. Presented on the lawn around the clubhouse were a variety of old and new concept cars, contrasting with the classic cars to be judged.

Renault Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet (2010) first pictures

Renault has whisked the covers off the new 2010 Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet, the sixth bodystyle of the latest Mégane family. There are few surprises: it's a two-door with a foldling hard top, like its predecessor. The roof is mainly smoked glass and there's a new fixed glass wind deflector positioned behind the rear seats to minimise buffeting up to 50mph.

Hamburg planning to ban cars from city by 2034

Fri, 17 Jan 2014

Hamburg, Germany is planning to ban all cars from its city center over the next 20 years, according to the Independent U.K. site. It’s a sad turn of affairs when the country that not only has the Autobahn, but also the Green Hell -- the most difficult racetrack in the world -- turns its back on motorized personal transportation.
