These aluminum weld bungs are perfect for your tank project. For adding a gauge or probe, anything requiring a 3/8" female pipe thread.  These bungs are very low profile.                                                   Total thickness is .500"   Outside diameter is 1.25"  Flange thickness is .350"  insertion diameter is .865" You need to drill a 7/8" hole for it to fit before you weld it in place.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    We make these for a customer of ours and decided to sell some extras on E bay. McLaren has finally revealed the price and performance figures for its P1 supercar. The hybrid P1 will launch from 0-62mph in less than three seconds, hit 124mph in under seven seconds, and reach 186mph in around 17 seconds, according to McLaren's official figures. The P1's top speed is electronically limited to 217mph.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has called for a nationwide ban on the use of personal electronic devices while driving. “According to NHTSA, more than 3,000 people lost their lives last year in distraction-related accidents,” said NTSB chairman Deborah A.P. Hersman.
