The splice is "properly" spliced with a permanent neck whip and has a permanent bitter end whip to prevent unraveling of the line. The term heat sealed translates to: (just too darn lazy & cheap to do the job properly !) The splices are done by a former US Coast Guardsman. Custom lengths provided upon request.
