Land Rover Freelander 2 HSE Review & Road Test Part 2
Wed, 19 May 2010Part 2 of the Freelander 2 Raod Test and review If you look at the Freelander 2 and compare its style to its modern rivals – such as the Audi Q5 – it looks a bit staid and frumpy. But change your perspective just a little and it becomes a convincing interpretation of an urban Land Rover. It’s bigger then its predecessor – taller and wider with an extra 4″ in the wheelbase – and it feels a much more grown-up vehicle than it was.
Subaru XV gets world’s first self-cleaning function (+ video)
Mon, 01 Apr 2013Subaru UK has revealed that the Subaru XV Crossover can now be specified with the world’s first self-cleaning function for a car. It’s a decent effort from Subaru, with added credibility as a compact urban warrior coming from Subaru’s 4WD prowess, a choice of a couple of petrol engines and a couple of diesels, manual or auto options and prices from £21k to £30k. But in a crowded market place it’s good to have a USP, so Subaru has pushed the boat out and is offering a world first for the Subaru XV – a self-cleaning function.
Volkswagen debuts tuned Jettas for SEMA

And just to reinforce that point, Volkswagen has brought a couple of tuned Jettas to SEMA that could almost pass for stock cars. This being SEMA, all that really means is that you're not looking hard enough -- the subtle cars you see are probably sleepers.
