Up for auction is a used rusty spare tire carrier from a 1939 Plymouth pickup truck. It will fit both Dodges and Plymouths. This is the same for several years in that age. Pick up only unless you want me to take it to UPS and you pay the exact charges to your house. I will ship it bare unless you want it in a box. Toyota shelves A-BAT pickup concept
Mon, 20 Apr 2009Toyota won't build the small, ultramodern A-BAT hybrid pickup concept that was a head-turner at the 2008 Detroit auto show and looked like a good bet for production. "We have a lot of top priorities, and A-BAT is not one of them right now," Bob Carter, Toyota Division's general manager, told the Web site PickupTrucks.com. "It's on the shelf." A Toyota official confirmed Carter's comments.
AC Cars and Zagato launch 378 GT Zagato
Thu, 15 Mar 2012AC Cars, working in collaboration with Italian design house Zagato, has announced its new sports car, the AC 378 GT Zagato. The launch was revealed at last week's Geneva motor show, where the production version of the Aston Martin V12 Zagato – which was, in fact designed in-house by Aston Martin in the UK – was being displayed on the British carmaker's stand. The car is instantly recognizable as a Zagato-designed car, with minimalist, organic surfacing and key features such as the C-pillar/rear window crossover.
Bentley and Bugatti get a new boss
Wed, 16 Apr 2014Volkswagen said Audi's former development chief, Wolfgang Duerheimer, will head its Bentley and Bugatti brands. It will be Duerheimer's second stint at Britain-based Bentley and France-based Bugatti. In February 2011, he took the helm at both brands for 19 months, succeeding retiring chief Franz-Josef Paefgen.
