INTERNATIONAL BUYERS - PLEASE NOTE: We really enjoy shipping overseas. We meet new people and the girls learn a little geography. It helps the US trade deficit too! Having said that- Import duties- taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up - do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.

The first photo of the 2012 Suzuki Swift Sport
At the Geneva Motor Show in the Spring we got a sport concept of the new Suzuki Swift which Suzuki dubbed the Swift S-CONCEPT, even though we all knew it was a great big signpost towards the new Suzuki Swift Sport. And so it was, with the news last month (thanks to a an email from Suzuki in Russia announcing the 2012 Swift Sport ahead of the game) that the Swift Sport was heading for a production-ready debut and going on sale in 2012. So it’s not exactly a surprise that Suzuki has sent us a single image of the 2012 Swift Sport to tease us in to a full debut at Frankfurt.

BMW Vision ConnectedDrive at Geneva
When the BMW Vision ConnectedDrive first crossed our path we did wonder if it would be a concept version of a small BMW Roadster, A sub Z4. A BMW Z2, perhaps. But it soon became clear that even if the BMW Vision ConnectedDrive did point towards a new BMW Roadster, is was far more about showing how BMW are trying to communicate an ever increasing amount of information to the driver.

The new Mercedes SL 400 (pictured) replaces the old SL 350
It’s a little over two years since the latest Mercedes SL arrived, and Mercedes has now decided to add a little zest to sales by dropping the old SL 350 and replacing it with a new Mercedes SL 400. The new SL 400 gets its power from the new E400 which means a twin-turbo 3.0 litre V6 with 328bhp and 354 lb/ft of torque – 26bhp and 81 lb/ft more than the old SL 350 – enough to let the SL 400 scoot to 62 mph in 5.2 seconds – 0.7s better than the 350 -= and on to a limited top speed of 155 mph. The new SL 400 has to make do with Mercedes tried and tested 7-speed auto – despite a new 9-speed now being available in Mercedes’ arsenal – which gives the SL 400 official economy of 38.6 mpg and emissions of 172g/km – not that you’ll come close in the real world.
