The engine is originally from a 1966 Impala with the Powerglide Transmission and Holley Carb. Engine suffix is HCH. It has less that 5,000 miles on it. Was pulled to go to a more modified 350 Chevy. Winning bidder can see the engine run on a stand and/or have a video sent to them. (pictures were taken early. The engine will have spark plug wires, thermostat, oil fill, etc) Last 2 pictures are assembly pictures indicating the condition and freshness of this engine. The 2015 NSX will not only be designed in the US, but built there too The new NSX gets a mid-mounted direct-injection V6 which drives power through Honda’s Sport hybrid SH-AWD system with 2 electric motors that can apply positive or negative torque to the front wheels during cornering which, say Honda, will deliver handling unmatched by other all-wheel-drive systems. Phil Crossman, Honda’s UK MD, said: We are really pleased with the interest we’ve already seen for the new NSX. We are still two years away from the launch of the car and yet we’ve received over 20 deposits and that’s before we’ve even announced prices or seen the final production car.
Mercedes-Benz CL gets a facelift for 2011
Fri, 02 Jul 2010Three years after its introduction, Mercedes-Benz has given the CL a mid-cycle facelift, providing the big two-door with lightly altered bumpers--those up front with new LED daytime running lamps, reshaped headlamps, a more contoured hood, larger exterior mirrors with integrated indicators and revised tail-lamp lenses, among other detailed visual changes. More significant than the styling tweaks, however, are the changes underneath the hood, with the arrival of a new twin-turbocharged 4.6-liter V8 direct-injection gasoline engine--the first of Mercedes-Benz's advanced MoVe powerplants that aim to bring efficiency gains to its lineup. With 429 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque, the new engine delivers 47 hp and 125 lb-ft more than the naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V8 it replaces in the four-year-old CL500--enough to lower the luxury coupe's 0-to-62-mph time by 0.5 second to 4.9 seconds.
