This is a 350, 5.7L Chevy Chevrolet 4 Bolt main, 1 piece rear main bare block. This block came from the factory set up for roller hydraulic lifters ( you can use either roller hydraulic, regular hydraulic or solid lifters in this block). Casting number 10243880  with Standard  4.000" bores. Cylinders look nice enough to possibly just hone and to bore .030" would be no problem. The block has been degreased, magnafluxed and completely checked over for any defects. There are no cracks, broken bolts, welding or any other types of repairs. This blocks has no defects or problems.

General Motors CEO Rick Wagoner is about to resign after eight years as the Obama administration prepares to decide on the automaker's request for additional government rescue loans, two people familiar with the matter said. A senior Obama administration official told NBC's John Yang that Wagoner, 56, was asked to step down by the White House. The automaker, which has lost about $82 billion since 2004, awaits word Monday from President Obama on a request for as much as $16.6 billion in additional U.S.

2013 Chevy, GMC trucks recalled for roll-away risk

General Motors is recalling 69,000 2013 full-size trucks and vans that could shift out of “park” and roll away. The recall impacts the Cadillac Escalade; the Chevrolet Avalanche, Express, Silverado HD and LD, and Suburban and Tahoe; and the GMC Savana, Sierra HD and LD, and Yukon and Yukon XL. The trucks may have been built with a fractured park-lock cable, or a deformed steering-column lock-actuator gear in the lock-module assembly.
