(BW-MX-LIFT) New Black Widow Motocross Lift - Hydraulic foot pedal operated motocross lift for bikes weighing up to 350 lbs maximum. Great for lifting larger wall climbing dirt bikes for maintenance. Includes a 4-position safety lock bar system and (2) integrated bike pedal tie-down hooks. Black Widow MX Lift Image Gallery Changing tires, tweaking suspension, gearing, and other bike maintenance is no problem with the Black Widow MX Lift. The hydraulic foot pump easily raises a dirt bike from 12-1/2" to 33-1/2" off the ground for unobstructed access to vital bike components. Two U-Bolts and J-Hook tie-downs lock the dirt bike pedals to the platform for stability. For safety, a 4-Position lock bar system prevents the platform from dropping if the release knob is accidentally bumped during maintenance. The top platform is coated with a 1/4" thick rubber pad to protect a bike's undercarriage and features a 4"W x 7"L cutout for fluid changes. With a large 350 lb capacity for wall climbing dirt bikes, the BW-MX-LIFT is a heavy duty reinforced motocross lift for optimal maintenance stability even with heavier loads. Finished in a glossy black powder-coat for long lasting durability. 1 Year Manufacturer's warranty. Black Widow MX Lift Product Features:

AA urges private parking regulation
Fri, 11 Jul 2014PRIVATE LAND parking enforcers are "free to reap any and every parking infringement," despite recent legislation, according to the AA. Highlighting findings of the new Parking on Private Land Appeals (Popla) body, the AA said the requirements of the 2102 Protection of Freedoms Act were not always being observed. Popla's report for 2013/14 said some private parking operators were acting outside some statutory provisions of the Act in their pursuit of those who they think have offended.
Florida man claims ownership of long-lost Cunningham Corvette
Mon, 27 Aug 2012A Florida man says the long-lost 1960 Chevrolet Corvette race car that made a brief public appearance in Carlisle, Pa., last week was owned and raced by his father in the 1970s, and claims the car belongs to him. The challenged ownership of the maroon-colored car--one of three raced in the 1960 24 Hours of Le Mans by Briggs Cunningham and valued by some collectors at more than $1 million--could be the reason organizers of the Corvettes at Carlisle show canceled a planned public display on Aug. 24 less than 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.
Nigel Mansell Le Mans debut 2010
Sat, 29 May 2010Nigel Mansell & Sons - Le Mans entrants 2010 Nigel Mansell is still one of our best known racing drivers, despite it being more than a year or two since he hung up his F1 helmet. But that hasn’t stopped him enjoying time behind the wheel of a fast motor or two and guiding the motor racing careers of his sons, Leo and Greg. Last year, perhaps a little tongue in cheek whilst being interviewed by Radio 2 jock and Ferrari nut Chris Evans, Nigel expressed a desire to get back in to F1 and said he could “…jump in a Ferrari [F1] tomorrow and be competitive.” But going backwards is not usually a sensible route – as Michael Schumacher can currently testify - but new challenges – whatever your age – are to be relished.
