Up for sale is a 355 SBC short block 4 Bolt main. It has been magnafluxed, hot tanked, bored .030 over, zero decked and assembled with Mahle power pack pistons, scat rods, stock crank cut .010, clevite bearings, and ARP main bolts.

Everything is new in the engine!! I had it built for a racecar but sold the car before this made its way into the car. This would make an excellent street, track, or strip engine! !

The only issue with it is that it was assembled with 5.7 rods and pistons for a 6.0" rod. This can be easily fixed by replacing the rods with 6" rods or replacing the pistons with ones for a 5.7 rod. I figured I would let the new owner decide whether it should be a 5.7 or a 6.0 rod motor. MY LOSS IS YOUR GAIN!!! I have over $900 in machine work alone into this plus over $1000 in parts. This engine is a steal for the right buyer.

Pistons - $700 Mahle Powerpak 355 6" rod
Rods - $300 Scat Pro Stock I Beam Connecting Rods
ARP Main Bolts
Clevite Bearings All around
Stock 350 crank

I will double check the part numbers of the rods and pistons.

I have this for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the listing at any time.

Gordon Murray and Yamaha reveal new Motiv city car (2016)

Built in conjunction with Yamaha, the Motiv uses elements of F1, motorcycle and extra-automotive technology to try and cut down on the environmental impact building – and running – a car creates. Mainly, it’s the two-seater’s production process, coined ‘iStream’ by the 240mph McLaren F1’s designer Gordon Murray.

Maintenance 'favours' end up costing more

Thu, 17 Oct 2013

GETTING help from family, neighbours or friends for basic car maintenance tasks costs the UK public an estimate £300million a year, according to a new survey. Over 2,000 people were surveyed on behalf of Halfords Autocentres and one in six said they regretted asking for help in the first place. 45% who subsequently had to pay a professional to rectify mistakes were left with a bill in excess of £100.
