New Maserati GranCabrio MC Stradale arrives early

The 2013 Maserati GranCabrio MC Stradale – the drop-top version of the  GranTurismo MC Stradale - revealed ahead of Paris 2012. The 2013 Maserati GranCabrio MC Stradale falls in to the latter camp – Maserati hasn’t revealed the cabrio MC Stradale out in to the wild officially, but the photos have leaked on to the interwebs in Russia. The new GranCabrio MC Stradale is almost certain to get the same levels of power and torque from the 4.7 litre V8 as the tin-top GranTurismo MC Stradale, which means 444bhp and 376lb/ft of torque delivers through Maserati’s MC Race Shift auto ‘box.

Hamilton wins in Hungary

Hamilton takes McLaren's firts win of the season at the Hungaroring Hamilton passed Red Bull’s Mark Webber early in the race, and found himself at the front of the pack when Alonso retired after a botched wheel change saw him lose his front wheel. Despite the pressure from Raikkonen Hamilton never really looked in danger of losing the lead and brought the McLaren home in first place for the first time this season. Belgian Grand Prix Qualifying – Hamilton beaten to pole by Rosberg

Rosberg takes pole in Belgium in the rain Formula One is back from its summer break, but normal service has resumed with Mercedes taking a one-two at Spa in qualifying for the 2014 Belgian Grand Prix, but it’s Nico Rosberg on pole, beating Lewis Hamilton in to second place. The two Mercedes were in a league of their own – two seconds ahead of the best of the rest – as torrential rain made the Spa circuit teachorous. Hamilton’s qualifying was patchy – - and a bit erratic – and he also had problems with glazed discs pulling his car to the left, but Rosberg was consistent – and quick – and deserved his pole.
