McLaren P1 back at the Nurburgring in attack mode
Sat, 19 Oct 2013The McLaren P1 is back at the Nurburgring looking to set a new record It was brave of Ron Dennis to declare – before the McLaren P1 was anywhere close to finished – that the it would be able to lap the Nurburgring in under 7 minutes. It's brimming with the sort of tech designed to keep the Fortwo's eco credentials alive and kicking.

As you can tell from its squashed insect looks, the Mixim is no production car in prick-tease show-off mode. This is a far-flung fantasy on the long-distance radar of Nissan's product planners.
