Operation
- Only when the battery is properly charged then the 10th LED (far right) will be lighted.
- As battery’s state of charge decreases, successive LED lights up, only one at a time.
- When 2nd (from left) LED flashes, indicating "energy reserve". When both 1st and 2nd LED flash, indicating "empty", new battery is needed to replace old one.
- Battery indicator memorized the battery state is full when leaving factory. When use with a new battery, it should be powered on for at least 2 minutes to indicate the real battery state.
- Range indication: Green: 41~100%, Yellow: 21~40%, Red: 20% less.

There is Mercedes-Benz, there is AMG, and then there is the Mercedes-Benz AMG Black Series. The last mentioned are so highly tuned and rare that AMG has slapped the Black label on only four models so far: the SLK55, the CLK63, the SL65 and now this, the C63 AMG Black Series coupe. We did not get to drive a C63 Black Series--but AMG did let us stand next to one and look at it.

We’ve got the 2013 MY Jaguar XJ in Portfolio trim with the 3.0 litre diesel engine and the new eight-speed gearbox and stop-start in for review and road test. But even though it’s changed little in the three years since it debuted, the XJ has changed minds about what a big Jaguar saloon should be; no longer the staid old man’s carriage of choice with a pipe holder in the centre console, but instead a stand-out car in its sector with better dynamics than anything else. The looks have grown on a sceptical public too, and the XJ is now viewed as a real Jaguar; it doesn’t garner crowds as it did in the early days, but it’s still a car that passing strangers feel warrants comment, comments which have always been complimentary when the big Jag has been with us.
