Genuine Delco Remy 6V, 5 terminal voltage regulator, part # 5807. This is the correct and original voltage regulator used on 1937-1939 Buick, all series and models. May also work for other GM models with negative ground charging systems like Cadillac, LaSalle, Olds & Pontiac.
This voltage regulator is used. It is not in as good condition as the previous ones I have sold. It has more corrosion under the lid. So I am pricing it less than the last one I sold. However, it does not smell burnt and the armature/contact point mechanisms all move freely. It is untested and not guaranteed. You are purchasing it as-is. It may need adjustment or rebuild. This voltage regulator was replaced by 4-prong regulator, part #1118213, in October 1939 (1940 model year), which removed the "ignition" terminal. These 5-terminal Delco pre-war voltage regulators are getting extremely hard to find. Do not see them for sale here very often. Please ask questions before bidding.
