1936-1941 Ford SPINDLES WITH BUSHINGS NOT REAMED HONED AND FITED.

fits 1928 -1948 Ford & aftermarket axles that take Ford spindles.

#SP001

Beware of kingpin sets for sale included here or with other spindles, because the bushings need to be honed reamed and properly fitted for the kingpins to function smoothly. To purchase and install a kingpin set including the proper bushings.  May require of you to see your machine shop to have them properly fitted for an extra $50 a pair unless you have a proper reamer and know how.

The kingpins themselves are not as prone to wear compared to the bushings this means that some times a quick fix is to purchase new spindles with new bushings installed properly "fitted" and use the old kingpins.  This may require a judgment call considering measurable wear to the kingpins. At these prices now is a good time to consider your options and do the right thing.

Accepts any brakes designed for 1937 - 1948 Ford SPINDLES

These spindles are ideal for hydraulic and disc brake conversions,
not for mechanical brakes.

Porsche 911 parade at Silverstone Classic hits record breaking 1,208

Tue, 30 Jul 2013

1,208 Porsche 911s hit the Silverstone track to celebrate Porsche-s 50th anniversary Last month, we reported that plans by Silverstone Classic to run a record-breaking parade of Porshe 911s to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Porsche had garnered so many applications that Silverstone has to stop accepting applications nearly two months ahead of the event. Now the 2013 Silverstone Classic 911 Parade has happened it seems Silverstone decided to go for broke, and instead of the originally planned parade of 911 911s, they actually managed to drive 1,208 911s round the Silverstone track at the same time – a new record. As well as 1208 911s, Porsche and the organisers of the Silverstone Classic managed to entice a number of names along too, including Mark Porsche – great grandson of Porsche founder, Ferdinand Porsche – former F1 and Le Mans driver Derek Bell and Le Mans drivers John Fitzpatrick and Richard Attwood.
