This auction is for a Used Chrysler Factory Part Number 3748164 and part type code 19-46-3, Instrument Panel Steering Column Automatic Transmission collapsible shift tube, for a 1974 Plymouth Valiant, Duster or Dodge Dart or Demon, with a column shifted automatic transmission and with or without power steering. This may fit other year A Body applications as well, although I am not sure. It does not appear to have a Casting number and it does have some surface rust as these came from the factory without any finish on them, as can be seen in the picture.  These pieces were made to "Collapse" during an impact therefore absorbing some of the damage before the introduction of Air Bags.  They have plastic capsules attaching the two sections which would break apart on impact thus allowing the two halves to compress.  After they are collapsed though they are of no further use and would need replacing. This part is in quite nice Used shape without any problems that I can see, other than the minor rust, but will probably be needing a minor clean up as I have not done anything to it besides removing it.  I'm not going to ask much for it so this could be your chance to get a hard to find piece.  Good Luck bidding and Have Fun.

Ferrari 599XX Evoluzione: The evolution of the 599XX

Wed, 30 Nov 2011

Ferrari 599XX Evoluzione Ferrari has had a play with the track-only 599xx, added more power and improved aerodynamics and created the ultimate 599 – the Ferrari 599XX Evoluzione. There are road Ferraris and there are track Ferraris. And the Ferrari 599XX carries on the tradition of hard-core track-only cars for wealthy clients (like the FXX) where ultimate performance is achieved by ignoring homologation rules for any race.

Lotus sues Dany Bahar for £2.5 million

Sat, 01 Dec 2012

Lotus are suing ousted CEO Dany Bahar for £2.5 million to recover the cost of his expensive lifestyle billed to Lotus. It seems DBR-HiCom, new owners of Proton (which own Lotus), took one look at the mess in Hethel and dumped Bahar, replacing him with engineer Aslam Farikullah to try and re-focus Lotus on its core products and engineering instead of pursuing Bahar’s fantasy of churning out the biggest range of luxury supercars of any car maker on the planet. That ousting led to Bahar issuing proceedings against Lotus for £6.7 million in August for wrongful dismissal (which gives you some idea of Bahar’s estimate of his own worth).
