This auction is for a Used Chrysler Factory Part Number 3748376, and part type code 19-14-1, Instrument Panel Steering Column Automatic Transmission collapsible Jacket, for a 1974 Plymouth Valiant or Dodge Dart, with a column shifted automatic transmission. This may fit other year A Body applications as well, although I am not sure. The Casting number is 3748200, which is located on the outside of the housing.  These pieces were made to "Collapse" during an impact therefore absorbing some of the damage before the introduction of Air Bags.  After they are collapsed though they of no further use and would need replacing. This part is in VERY nice Used shape without any problems that I can see, but will probably be needing a refinish because of some areas where the paint is faded or chipped off.  I'm not going to ask much for it so this could be your chance to get a hard to find piece.  Good Luck bidding and Have Fun.
