Meet the new Goodyear blimp -- er, airship
Mon, 17 Mar 2014A new blimp comes around only once in a while, and Goodyear slowly replacing its fleet is cause for fanfare. These new airships, as yet unnamed, will fly farther, go faster and carry more people than ever before -- and none of it would be possible without help from the Germans. This newest airship is a collaboration between Goodyear and ZLT Zeppelin Luftschifftechnik -- yes, of that Zeppelin fame -- and the partnership has historical precedent.

The Institute Superieur de Design (ISD) isn't as well-known as Strate or Creapole in Paris, nevertheless it has a growing reputation as one of the most focused design schools in Europe with an enviable record of internships and employment of its graduates. Last month CDN was invited to join the final assessments of this year's graduate cohort.

Fri, 30 Jul 2010The Concours of America at Meadow Brook is moving to the other side of the Detroit area. The event is leaving the grounds of Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester, Mich., after more than 30 years. It's relocating to a former seminary in 2011, called the Inn at St.
