3815822 Forged Notched Flange 283 301 302 V8 Crank Camaro Chevelle Chevy II Passenger Truck Marine.

Nice used OEM 3" stroke forged "5822" notched flange crankshaft. Notched flywheel/flexplate flange similar to those used in the 1967-1968 SBC 301, 302 cu. in. Daytona Sebring Trans Am Camaros. Standard, factory grind small journal crank with normal wear. Some journals are within spec, others are fairly close. Flywheel/flexplate bolt holes in good condition but cleaning and tapping recommended. Surface rust and minor pitting on counterweights. Snout is not tapped for balancer bolt. Some surface staining/rust present on journals and dimples on #1 main. (see picture details). This is a standard grind forged steel crankshaft needing turned to put back in service. Not very often you get to start a Gen I small block Chevy engine rebuild with a factory grind, OEM crank. Here's your chance. Look the pictures over, what you see is what you get.

Alfa Romeo 8C, Maserati Quattroporte and GranTurismo recalled

Mon, 20 May 2013

Owners of 2005-2008 Maserati Quattroportes, 2008 GranTurismos, and the 2008 Alfa Romeo 8C should expect to hear from dealers soon as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued a recall this past week. The recall is for tie-rod ends that have insufficient corrosion protection, which then leads to rust and weakening of the units. This unit could fail completely, causing the driver of the vehicle to lose control.
