The 383ci ships with the following specs: Seasoned 4 bolt main block,  4340 I-Beam Rods, Scat 9000 series cast crankshaft, Moly rings, Clevite main and rod bearings. This engine is supplied with a 4 bolt main block.

We offer this engine in various compression ratios and your choice of driver or passenger side dipstick location and one or two piece rear main seal, depending on your application.

CHEVROLET has taken on the job of restoring a number of classic Corvettes which were swallowed by a gaping sinkhole beneath the National Corvette Museum in Kentucky. General Motors' head of global product development, Mark Reuss, said today that the damaged vehicles are some of the most significant in motoring history. He said the company wants to restore as many of them as possible so car fans can enjoy them.

Hyundai delays Sonata Hybrid deliveries for change in sound device

Delivery to dealerships of most of Hyundai's initial Sonata Hybrids has been delayed until at least late March because the brand is altering the car’s device that emits an artificial engine noise at low speeds. Hyundai planned to have the car available in January but only a small number of the vehicles are in dealer stock, Hyundai spokesman Jim Trainor said. Trainor declined to say how many Sonata Hybrids have arrived in the United States but said about 700 units are in port or at sea.
