Drivers believe potholes 'are out of control'

MOST DRIVERS (67%) think the pothole problem in the UK is getting out of control and the government and councils are not doing enough to solve the problem. Research by the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) has found 65% of female drivers and 69% of male drivers are very unhappy with the condition of the UK’s roads. The IAM cites a lack of communication between councils and drivers for this situation as a third (34% ) of drivers believe councils are reducing the amount they spend on road maintenance but 60% of drivers admit they don’t know if budgets are genuinely being cut.

Toyota has revealed the revised Land Cruiser for 2010 But times move on, and Toyota has decided a modest facelift and a re-vamp is called for, and they have released details of the changes for their most iconic model, which will launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show this week, and go on sale in the UK in December. There are a number of styling tweaks inside and out to keep the venerable Land Cruiser fresh, including a revised dash and trim and tweaks to the bumpers and lights. Concept Car of the Week: Ford GT90

The second edition of ‘Concept Car of the Week' features what was hailed as "the world's mightiest supercar": the Ford GT90. The GT90 was unveiled at the 1995 Detroit auto show and acted as the poster boy of the 'New Edge' design philosophy, with its large, flat planes, angles and triangular shapes it was a major change in design direction. This car, completed in just six months, was something of a successor to the GT40, using some of its design cues such as doors that cut into the roofline, but underneath many components were borrowed from the other cars such as the Jaguar XJ220.
