Thu, 06 May 2010Victor Nacif started his new role as Vice President of Design at Nissan Design Europe last month, having recently relocated from San Diego, California. Car Design News caught up with Nacif, an avid racing fan, at last weekend's FIA GT1 World Championship race at Silverstone, in which a Nissan GT-R piloted by team Sumo Power garnered the win. Nacif comes to NDE following a six-year stint at Nissan Design America where he held the role of Vice President of Design Business Aspects.

The Bentley Continental GT3 appears to be a lowered, widened and stripped- out GT with which Bentley plan to return to their roots and a long history of motorsport. whether that means supplying the GT3 as a customer car or a works racing team we don’t yet know.

Fri, 12 Apr 2013Founded in 1937, French company Matra began its activities by manufacturing military equipment such as aeronautics and weaponry. In the mid ‘60s, under Jean-Luc Lagardere's ambitious direction, the company bought Automobiles Rene Bonnet to expand its portfolio with street and racing cars. The first model solely developed by Matra was the bonkers, but brilliant, 1967 M530, which took its name from the company's surface-to-air missile the R530.
