    D and E weight backing makes these abrasive products extremely durable for sanding paint, metal, or fiberglass. Open coat construction reduces loading on fresh filler. We surveyed more than 1000 motorists and asked if the new charges – quadrupling the annual tax bill for some cars – would put them off so-called gas guzzlers. Surprisingly, 76 percent of drivers said it wouldn't deter them one jot.

Warning to car owners ahead of peak MOT time

DRIVERS OF cars three years old and over are being warned of potential MOT pitfalls in the month of September. Due to the registration plate change in September and March each year these months also see a peak in the number of MOT tests, confirmed by statistics provided by the Vehicle Operator Services Agency (VOSA). Data has also revealed that a key area for MOT failures is vehicle lighting, which can be looked at ahead of the test.

The Jaguar XKR-S will make its UK debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2011 Jaguar has revealed that its fastest car in a generation – and its fastest series production car ever – the Jaguar XKR-S is to make its UK debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July. Which has surprised us a bit – we rather expected it to start turning up before that. But in lots of ways it makes sense to have Jaguar’s new Cat with Big Claws making waves on the  Goodwood Hillclimb as the Goodwood Festival of Speed is going to be something of  Jaguar-fest this year.
