Autodesk presented its third Webinar in the series entitled ‘Concept Modeling with Maya' that illustrates how the software helps to create concept models. Martin Emila of Autodesk showed how Maya could accelerate the development of a design concept with the help of polygonal modeling workflow, and how it can be integrated into common workflow - starting with first ideation sketch, move to polygon model and continue to surfacing and visualization. Emila's four-year career at Autodesk has largely focused on conceptual design and visualization.

The Crackdown 2 video game doesn't go on sale until July 6, but the sweepstakes to win the “Crackdown Cruiser” has already begun. Mazda Takeri Concept previews the 2013 Mazda6 The Mazda Takeri Concept Mazda are going to debut at the Tokyo Motor Show next month is the first public step towards the new Mazda 6, and the second instalment of Mazda’s new SKY technology wrapped up in a car heading for production, the first being the new C-X5, which will also be on Mazda’s stand at Tokyo. The Takeri features Mazda’s latest design language – KODO Soul of Motion – which is less of a caricature than Mazda’s current cartoon face designs. But the key to the new Mazda6 / Takeri is the SKYACTIV technology.
