New Hitch Mounted Bike Carrier carries 4 bikes and has a swing down feature to allow opening of a rear hatch or tailgate without removing the the bicycles from the carrier. Fits 2" Class III / IV trailer hitches. 1 year warranty.
The new BC-X814 bike rack mounts to your 2" trailer hitch receiver to transport up to 4 bicycles. Simply slide the hitch bike rack into your receiver and secure the included anti-tilt locking device to either side of your receiver to eliminate carrier wobbling and rocking. Two drilled holes are 5" & 8" from the center of the pinhole to the bike rack to work with recessed trailer hitch receivers. Loading your bikes onto the BC-X814 bike rack is easily done. Each cradle accommodates bikes with a frame diameter no larger then 2" . Once seated, the lockable top plate is then secured with a screw-on knob. The cradles feature a ribbed rubber construction to prevent scratching your bikes while traveling. The trailer hitch bike rack has lockable plates which are a great theft deterrent. When access to the rear of your vehicle is needed, simply pull the top pin to swing the hitch bike rack down. BMW reveals the 6 Series Gran Coupe, a 6 Series with extra doors and more room, the Gran Coupe is BMW’s take on the Mercedes CLS. It’s not a surprise that the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe has arrived, the surprise is that it’s taken so long. Mercedes started the whole swoopy coupe fad with the CLS – which is now in its second iteration – and it seemed an odd niche at the time.

Last week we ran a story about the replacement for Ferrari’s four-seat supercar, the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti. The basic premise was that Ferrari would be bringing the replacement for the 612 Scaglietti to the Geneva Motor Show in March, and that it would feature a new, 650bhp V12 engine, and 4×4 platform and be a Shooting Brake. All of which was a cobbling together from bits of information we’ve received when we started to dig around for information after Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo recently said there will be a “very different Ferrari” at Geneva.
