Toyota Prius: Battery bottleneck limits Prius Output

Battery bottlenecks are hurting efforts to boost output of the Toyota Prius to meet booming demand, and the problem will likely persist into next year, a Toyota official says. Cars, Harleys among items to be sold in dealer bankruptcy auction

Three cars, five Harley-Davidson motorcycles and five boats are among the items from bankrupt Minnesota car dealer Denny Hecker being auctioned off to raise money for creditors. The item list for the May 25 auction in New Germany, Minn., includes a 2004 Cadillac Escalade, a 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder convertible and a 2002 Mitsubishi Montero SUV. This is the third sale of Hecker's possessions since last August to raise money for creditors.

GTO Judge poised for a comeback

The Trans Am Depot is adding to its lineup of converted classic muscle cars with the 2014 GTO Judge, based on the Chevy Camaro. The company already builds a “Smoky and the Bandit,” Trans Am, Trans Am Hurst Edition and what they call the 6T9 GTO, all made to look vaguely like the originals. Trans Am Depot only teased the new classic on its website in a video, but it impressively beats a current gen Shelby Mustang in a drag race.
