ORIGINAL PRODUCT I have been told that the wheels came off a 1984 533i and they were fitted on all sorts of BMW models in the 80's, starting in the US in 1983 and ending in 1989. Only the 5,6 and 7-series were equipped with Metric Wheels and Michelin TRX tires. They are compatible with the E23 7-series (1978-1987), the E28 5-series (1982-1988), and the E24 6-series (1977-1989). They are not for any 3-series. Please be advised on the info as its the best to my knowledge. Sold in "AS IS" condition. Shipping price based in the USA only. Excluding PR and Hawaii.

Starting point is the Golf S 3-door with the 1.2 litre TSI engine the 84bhp at just £16,330 (less than the same MK 6 model), with a choice of both 3 and five door models across the range and three trim levels – S, SE and GT (the MK 7 Golf GTI won’t arrive until next year).

Fri, 03 Oct 2014The Hyundai i40 Hybrid & i30 CNG on the floor in Paris Hyundai is busy trying to find ways to reduce emissions and increase economy – just like every other car maker – and has arrived at the Paris Motor Show with a pair of economy-focused models – the Hyundai i40 mild hybrid and an i30 running on compressed natural gas (CNG). The Hyundai i40 gets a 48V mild hybrid setup just like the Kia Optima-T Hybrid, which means a 48V lead-carbon battery which cuts emissions from the 1.7 litre diesel by up t0 20 per cent by allowing electric-only running at low speeds and when cruising and, just like the Optima, the i40 hybrid gets a belt-driven starter generator for seamless restarting, which also contributes to engine power in normal running. The beauty of the system – apart from improvements in economy and emissions – is that it’s very light compared to a full hybrid – just 46kg – and costs 75 per cent less than a full hybrid system to install.
