The Recessed Tie-Down mounts flush in the floor or wall of a trailer, taking up no space at all! The d-ring swivels, matching the angle of the tie down or folds flat in the tray when not in use. 1/4" diameter drain hole prevents water buildup. The tie down kit includes mounting hardware (bolts, lock washers & nuts) and a Backing Plate that installs underneath the surface preventing the bolts from pulling through. Installation requires some drilling, a Phillips head screwdriver and a 17mm (socket) wrench. Constructed of heavy duty steel, the tie down ring features a 5,000 lb Break Strength and adjusts to fit surfaces up to 1-1/2" thick.
