The RMC series of marine speakers by Rockville are a major upgrade to our old RMS series. Don’t get me wrong we loved our old series, but we strive for perfection. We wanted a speaker that is more durable, more water resistant, can handle more power, and put out better sound quality!
As always we sent our team on a speaker-hunting adventure. We tested countless prototypes until the RMC series was born. We ended up with a speaker that has a lot more bass and mids than any other speaker on the market at this price point. This speaker will destroy all those cheap dual cone speakers, and it will compete with top branded marine speakers on the market today!
These speakers are completely waterproof and protected from the elements! They are UV treated and have a special waterproof coating to prevent water damage. Also these speakers come with a 1 year warranty to give you the peace of mind you deserve when purchasing from Rockville!
Rockville engineers care about quality and sound more than anything else. The RMC80 was designed in a molded ABS plastic basket. The polypropylene cone is reliable and sounds great. This material is used on most of the top speakers on the market. We use rubber surrounds on these to eliminate unwanted distortion. In addition rubber is a very waterproof material. The ½˝ polymer tweeter puts out incredible sounding highs. The low end bass and mids of these speakers really makes them stand out.
The RMC80 8˝ marine speakers were engineered to deliver amazing power and sound quality in the outdoors; be it saltwater, freshwater or any other harsh environments. These speakers can withstand tons of abuse and can handle 400 watts peak and 100 watts RMS each. These Rockville speakers comply with the CEA 2031 Loud Speaker Standard. This same rating standard is used by the highest end marine brands in the industry. CEA compliant means you can rest assured that the ratings are 100% legitimate. (We compared these against other brands and although some of these other brands stated higher wattage the Rockville RMC80 speakers were able to handle more than double the power!)
Using only true marine grade components and materials, the Rockville RMC80 speakers are fully marinized against salt & fresh water conditions. They will not get damaged by fresh water, salt water, or moisture. There is also an additional waterproof and UV resistant coating to completely protect the speakers.
The speakers come with everything you need for installation including pre mounted grills and mounting hardware.

About Rockville Quality Control Procedures:
The Rockville brand stands for Quality, Innovation and Value. All Rockville products go through the most rigorous quality control standards in the industry. Products go through months of extensive testing before they reach your hands. All user functions are tested and all internal components are tested for quality. Rockville makes products that are virtually un-breakable! Rockville is one of the only brands in its class to test every concept model for weeks or months before starting production. Once production begins, Rockville sends product engineers to their factory to quality control every line of production. During production every product is tested and on top of that Rockville goes the extra mile and has their high level product engineers do an additional quality control. They test a certain percentage of all products from the production line a second time to ensure that the quality meets their vigorous standards, and to make sure that there is never a batch of products with even a slight problem. All Rockville products are backed with a hassle free warranty.
Advantages of the RWB80W:

Description of RXM8BTW:
Rockville
RXM8BT Marine 8 Channel Digital Class D Power Amplifier with Bluetooth
Wireless Integration.
The Rockville Proton
Series Marine
amplifiers are engineered with advanced technologies. These amps are a
full solution to your marine audio needs. Gone are the old days where
people bring CD's on their boat or listen to FM radio that cuts in and
out. Gone are the days where you need a receiver and multiple amplifiers
to power your speakers. Gone are the days where you have wires running
throughout your boat. Welcome to the marine system of the future! The
Rockville RXM8BT will change your life! This is an 8 channel amplifier
with Bluetooth built in! The Bluetooth will allow you to stream music
wirelessly from a Bluetooth enabled MP3 player or smartphone. Of course
the RXM8BT features "zero noise" RCA differential preamp inputs and
preamp outputs for system expansion. This means you can connect any
audio device through the RCA input. But it's the high quality Bluetooth
that will blow you away. It offers advanced streaming from almost any
music device. Now you can easily play your iTunes, Pandora, Rhapsody and
Spotify directly from your smart phone directly to all 8 channels of
your amplifier. Even more importantly though, is the capability of the 8
channel amplifier. We feel this is the best marine amplifier on the
market even if it did not have the Bluetooth capability which it has. It
offers more system flexibility and more power than anything even
remotely close to this price. I almost forgot to mention how good the
sound quality is.
The Rockville Proton
Series Marine
amplifiers utilize Texas Instruments patented switching technology to
deliver class-leading sonic performance and extremely high power from
what seems like an impossibly miniature package. The Proton Series'
dimensions are made possible by its outstanding efficient class D design
which is over 90%efficient. The result is more power in your boat with
less current drain. Proton Series amplifiers are 2 ohm stable in stereo
and 4 ohm in mono. There are so many options of configurations. Any 2
channels can be bridged to 1 channel. So for example, you can bridge 4
channels to 2 channels and still have an additional 4 channels
remaining. You can simply plug 1 speaker to each channel. You can use 2
or 4 of the channels for subwoofers and the rest for your full range
speakers. The configuration options are amazing with this amplifier.
Whether you have 4 speakers, or 16 speakers, and whether you do or do
not have subwoofers, this amplifier will power your system. With a smart
auto thermal reset circuit, Proton Series amplifiers are almost
impossible to shut down. When they get too warm, the thermal circuit
reduces power by up to a third until they cool down enough to power up
again at full power. And mixed impedances on different channels are no
problem with the advanced rail voltage circuitry design.
This amplifier is so
awesome I almost
forgot to write about the most important thing. How much power the
thing has. The short answer is a boatload!
But in all seriousness,
this
amplifier is extremely powerful. The true RMS ratings are 65 watts x 8
at
4 ohms or 95 watts x 8 at 2 ohms. This is the CEA compliant ratings. CEA
compliant means the ratings are rated with the exact same rating
standards as the top brands in the industry such as Kenwood, Alpine,
etc. In total this has 750 watts RMS and 1,500 watts peak output. There
are not many marine amplifiers on the market with this much power. Other
brands out there will rate their amps at thousands of watts but in
reality are only a hundred or 200 watts. But this Rockville
amplifier is legitimate and will produce or exceed its rated power. To
prove the power; you can check the fuse rating. This amplifier is
equipped with an 80A fuse. To proe the power; you can look at the fuse
rating. A
general rule for 12 volt amplifiers is if you multiply the fuse rating
by 10 that is close to the real power you will get. In this case that is
800 watts RMS (we rate it at 750w RMS since this is CEA compliant).
Utilizing the RCA preamp
channels you
can easily daisy chain a second amp for an almost unlimited number of
speakers! But one amp in most setups will give you more than enough
power and channels. This amp is a real marine amp and all the components
have been fully marinized. It's resistant to both fresh water and salt
water. The high quality surface mount (SMD) double sided PCB is
conformal-coated keeping the board and components protected from the
elements. All connections to speakers and RCA cables are 100% stainless
steel to avoid any signal robbing corrosion. The RXM8BT is rated at 750
Watts RMS /1500 Watts Peak and is loud enough to literally power a
boatload of speakers and subwoofers. So weather your plowing at full
speed ahead, or just cruising around the lake, the Rockville Micro
Marine Series amp will keep the music flowing with audio fidelity that
high end audiophiles have come to expect and appreciate.

Surely the best concept name of the show? Possibly. Although it sounds like an early 80s rap MC with dirty habits, this concept is actually designed to showcase a possible all-terrain vehicle able to transport keen mountain bikers to extreme locations – as well as providing shelter to fix their rides under its twin gull-wing doors with built-in LED lamps.
If you've always wanted a new Bugatti, you'll have to settle for the Grand Sport: All 300 cars in the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 model run have found homes, the last one having been ordered by a European customer who will take delivery next autumn. The Veyron came to life in concept form at the Tokyo motor show a year after the Volkswagen Group bought the rights to the Bugatti name in 1998. The Veyron was the first production car to have a full carbon-fiber monocoque, and its 8.0-liter W16 engine produced 1,001 hp and 922 lb-ft of torque, mated to a seven-speed twin-clutch gearbox.

This is BMW’s first video tease of its new PAS concept, which will be unveiled at the Geneva motor show on 3 March 2009. Unfortunately the video only features cartoon drawings and a narration that explains why BMW boffins think the PAS is a good idea. Worryingly, by the end of the video the PAS actually starts to make (a little) sense.
