four vintage race weekends, about 6 + hours and damping seems as good as when new
Brand:SPAX Surface Finish:yellow powdercoat Placement on Vehicle:Left, Right, Front, Rear Country/Region of Manufacture:United Kingdom

These SPAX adjustable shocks were on my vintage racing Austin Mini Cooper for 4 race weekends.
SPAX was the first company to offer externally adjustable shocks and has a reputation for providing the best competition shocks for Austin Minis. These have obviously been used, but in terms of hours that use has probably been less then 7 hours, four vintage race weekends.
These shock have a slotted adjuster on each shock as opposed to the newest SPAX shocks that are identical with the exception of a adjustment knob. Their discounted price is normally around $120 per corner $480 for a full set.
The normal dust shields the shocks were shipped with were removed, as was done on most competition or performance installations.
These should literally be as good as new and if the new buyer finds any problems after receipt we would be happy to take them back for a full refund within the first 2 weeks.

Road, autocross or race, they make a difference you can feel.

Hyundai: E4U Egg Car & Fluidic Sculpture in Motion

Sun, 14 Apr 2013

Hyundai has already made it clear that 2013 will be about ‘Brand Awareness’ rather than releasing a new raft of models and chasing ever increasing sales, so two Hyundai outings in the last week can be put down to their targeted aim of profile raising. In Milan, Hyundai are taking part in the Milan Design Week by showing an innovative light sculpture that has been inspired by Hyundai’s ‘Fluidic Design’ (even though Hyundai have already said that ‘Fluidic Design’ is being replaced by ‘Fluidic Precision’ as they aim to make their designs ‘cleaner) with an installation made up of 12,000 translucent spheres acting collectively on a screen, surrounded by high-power lasers and suspended over a pool of water. The ‘performance’ starts with virtual rain created by the lasers which form three-dimensional shapes, followed by an interactive segment where human interaction creates three-dimensional images by scanning for body warmth so visitors can manipulate what they see by using gestures.
